Pastry Chef - £18k – Southend, Essex 

 

My client an award winning Bistro is looking for an experienced pastry chef to join their talented brigade. This busy Bistro has been nominated for numerous awards and has a fantastic reputation within the local area. This Bistro is consistently busy and is well known in Essex for producing quality food using only the freshest produce.

 

As Pastry Chef you will be responsible for;

 

Leading an existing brigade of pastry chefs creating plated desserts, breads, pastries and ice creams to high standard.

  • Menu Planning
  • Working closely with The Head Chef 
  • Mentoring Junior Chefs

 

The successful Pastry Chef must be dedicated and have complete knowledge and techniques in pastry. Must be organised, a flair for ideas and creativity, neat and tidy in their work and lots of energy. A minimum of two years spent on the Pastry Sections is required.
