A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commis chef at this family run gastro pub near Colchester.
Our clients are currently producing a menu which is carefully created to include modern, exciting dishes along with delicious traditional pub food, using only fresh ingredients, and where possible, locally sourced. All food is home cooked and prepared onsite, including their own fresh bread.
The ideal commis chef will be expected to have an input on the monthly changing menu, and therefore you should have confidence in your ability and a willingness to learn.
A clean kitchen is of great importance to our client and the successful candidate would be expected to help maintain the exceptional standards already set.
Due to the location in Colchester a car driver would be preferred, and you should ideally have your own knives.
