My client is looking for an experienced assistant general manager or highly skilled bar manager looking to take their first step into general management.
Venue
Our client is a privately owned boutique hotel situated in the heart of Hertford. They open till 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and have a resident D.J on these evenings. They have premium products and have a strong cocktail theme with a very experienced cocktail bar team. This establishment also offers a café style food menu, which operates from 7am for hotel guests and last orders at 9pm. The food is freshly prepared on the premises and the kitchen brigade consists of 4 chefs.
Person Required
Applicants should have a clear focus on quality, awareness of high standards, a desire to impress and an eye for detail. You must have a minimum of 5 years bar management experience, exceptional stock management skills and the confidence and charisma to manage a strong existing team. Your overall bar and cocktail knowledge should be second to none and ideally you would also have a passion for food.
The right candidate will preferably have experience from big corporate companies and small privately owned businesses. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on their first general manager’s position or someone in their first general manager’s position
