General Manager - Restaurant – Chelmsford £25,000 - £30,000
This recently opened Wine Bar and Bistro located near Chelmsford is now looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead their existing team forward.
My client has several very successful gastro pub's which have an eclectic mix that share the same passion for food and service, the pubs are very much food driven with strong emphasis on fresh locally produced ingredients. They are looking for a General Manager to join this fresh and funky exciting company, a keen entrepreneur would be perfect to push the business forward. The role involves developing food strategies, amending to current trends, structuring of the kitchens, recruitment of staff and implementing procedures and standards.
The ideal General Manager will be an "over the top foodie" and have lots of flair and imagination, regarding front of house and back of house operations, a passion to drive the business forward from the forefront. You will be a good all-round General Manager, be able to train and develop your staff to get the best out of them.
As General Manager you will have a least 2 years’ experience in running similar establishments and have a good knowledge of fresh food.
