Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Supervisor. They want someone who is looking for long term career progression with management experience.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Manage requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies
- Manage changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work team
- Analyses and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
- Manages repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Good understanding of machinery and plant
- Supervisory Skills
- Good understanding of Health and Safety practices
- Integration of machines
- Hydraulic experience , Servo controlled valves, technical
- Basic understanding of big components, steel, bearings
- Facility Management Experience
- Be able to demonstrate training and personnel development for team
- Budget control and cost saving
- Experience with efficiency measurement of department and reporting
Education and/or Experience:
- Formal qualifications and or maintenance apprenticeship
- Higher Education HNC/ONC
- Multi skilled equipment and building maintenance practices
- Proven working history in a similar environment
- Working experience of TPM / Kaizen
- PLC Programme experience
- Experience of working to ISO9001
- Worked in automotive or heavy industry
- Previous experience to include hands on engineering
- Be able to problem solve
- Be able to repair all types of machines, die casting/ machining centres and support equipment
Salary for this role is up to £40,000 depending on experience.
