Looking for a stable finance role with hybrid flexibility, a supportive team, and exposure to month-end and audit processes?


We’re recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our established finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys Accounts Payable but wants more ownership, collaboration, and variety in their day.


💼 What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly by:

  • Processing and registering supplier invoices accurately

  • Reconciling supplier accounts (including foreign currency accounts)

  • Reviewing statements and proactively chasing missing invoices

  • Managing invoice approvals and resolving queries efficiently

  • Maintaining accurate supplier records and payment terms

  • Supporting month-end reporting and year-end audit requirements

  • Running purchase ledger reports and highlighting potential issues

  • You’ll work closely with the wider finance and operations teams, building strong internal and external relationships.


🎯 What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak to candidates who have:

  • Experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role

  • Strong reconciliation skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good Excel and finance system knowledge

  • A proactive approach and confidence communicating with suppliers

  • Foreign currency experience would be a bonus — but not essential.
