We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded firm in Halstead that is looking to add an experienced Accounts/Audit Senior to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recent accountancy practice experience who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.
The Role:
As an Accounts/Audit Senior, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients while delivering high-quality accounting and audit services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
Planning and carrying out audit assignments from start to completion
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
Producing management accounts where required
Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
Liaising directly with clients and building strong professional relationships
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
About You:
To be considered, you will need:
Recent experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
Experience preparing accounts and undertaking audit work
ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team
A proactive and professional approach to client service
