Business Systems Analyst (Not a traditional Business Analyst role)

💰 £60,000 – £75,000 + bonus & benefits
Rayment Recruitment is recruiting a Business Systems Analyst for a well-established London Market insurance software provider.
This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who has previously worked as a developer and moved into a BSA/technical analyst position.
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in the London Insurance Market
Strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle
In-depth SQL experience (queries, reporting, database updates)
Experience with system configuration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Confident communicator, able to work autonomously
Responsibilities:
Configure insurance systems to client specifications
Build and maintain SQL queries and reports
Translate client requirements into detailed documentation
Liaise with clients and internal teams
Support testing, implementation, and user training
Produce reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and MS Report Builder
