Catering Assistant (School Kitchen) – Temporary – Ipswich IP1 - Pay up to £14 per hour
2 Catering Assistants Required – Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting 2 Catering Assistants to support a busy school kitchen in Ipswich (IP1). This is a temporary 2-week placement starting Monday 16th March and running until 27th March.
This role is ideal for someone with school catering or kitchen assistant experience who is available for short-term work.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
10:00am – 2:00pm
Duties will include
Chopping and preparing vegetables
Assisting with food preparation
Serving lunches to students
Setting up the service area
Clearing down and cleaning after service
Supporting the kitchen team as required
Requirements
Valid and up-to-date DBS certificate (essential)
Previous catering assistant or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable and punctual
Please note: applicants without a current DBS will not be considered for this role.
