An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a well-known, award-winning 2AA Rosette establishment located on the stunning Suffolk Coast.


This highly regarded venue has built an excellent reputation for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a strong local following. Popular with both tourists and returning clientele, the restaurant offers a refined dining experience alongside regularly changing seasonal specials.


The Role

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining the excellent standards the kitchen is known for. This is an ideal role for a chef looking to progress within a respected and ambitious business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

  • Covering all kitchen sections confidently

  • Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials

  • Managing stock control, GP margins, and food ordering

  • Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations

  • Leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence


About You

  • Previous experience within a 1-2 AA Rosette environment

  • Passionate about fresh, high-quality cuisine

  • Strong all-round kitchen skills and attention to detail

  • Creative, enthusiastic, and driven to maintain high standards

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Able to work independently and use initiative

  • Knowledge of stock control, GPs, and kitchen management
